Statement of faith
Our unshakable belief in the Lord Jesus Christ.
At Holy Spirit Treehouse, we boldly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ — crucified, buried, and risen — as the only hope for humanity. We believe in the full power of the cross, the truth of His Word, and the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
The gospel: Jesus Christ, our one and only savior
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God — fully God and fully man — born of a virgin, sinless in life, perfect in love, and righteous in judgment.
He willingly gave Himself as the once-for-all sacrifice for the sins of the world, dying on the cross to redeem us from death and reconcile us to the Father.
Jesus was crucified, buried, and on the third day rose from the dead, victorious over sin, death, and the grave.
He ascended into Heaven and sits at the right hand of God, interceding for the saints until His glorious return.
“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8
Salvation: The only way is Jesus
We believe that salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life — no one comes to the Father except through Him. No religion, ritual, or good works can save; only the blood of Jesus can cleanse us from sin and grant eternal life.
“Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”
— Acts 4:12
Acts 2:38: The biblical response to the gospel
We believe and preach the clear biblical response to the gospel as proclaimed by the Apostle Peter on the Day of Pentecost:
“Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
— Acts 2:38 (KJV)
1. Repentance – A turning away from sin with godly sorrow, surrendering fully to Christ.
2. Water Baptism – By full immersion in the name of Jesus, as the Apostles always practiced, for the forgiveness of sins.
3. Receiving the Holy Spirit – The promised indwelling of God’s Spirit, evidenced by transformation, empowered living, and speaking in tongues.
Baptism in Jesus’ name: Full immersion
We affirm that water baptism must be done in the name of Jesus Christ, as the Apostles taught and practiced throughout the Book of Acts. This is not a symbolic act alone — it is an obedient response to the gospel and the moment of covenant identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.
“Buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God.”
— Colossians 2:12
The living water of our soul
Jesus is not just a teacher — He is the Living Water that satisfies the deepest thirst of our souls. He is the Light of the World, the Bread of Life, and the Resurrection and the Life. Every child, every adult, every nation — needs Him.
“If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink... out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”
— John 7:37–38
We stand on Jesus — the Rock, the Redeemer, the Risen King.
We preach His name. We baptize in His name. We follow His Spirit.
And we teach children to love Him with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.
